Born and raised in the heart of Texas, Josh's journey from the small Panhandle town of Stratford to the helm of HGYC is nothing short of extraordinary.
His passion for the culinary arts ignited in high school while serving on the Texas Pork Producers Junior Board of Directors. He went on to refine his skills at the prestigious Texas Culinary Academy, graduating with top honors in 2003 after first pursuing music at The University of Texas in Austin.
Josh’s career has taken him from the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center to the Hilton Bella Harbor Hotel, where he has catered for former Presidents, served celebrities, and orchestrated fine-dining galas—all while bringing his signature creativity to every dish.
In 2014, he met his perfect match, Meredith, and together they are raising their son, Avery, in Rowlett. Outside the kitchen, Josh enjoys unique hobbies like raising reptiles and fish, refinishing furniture, and playing drums—much to the amusement of his neighbors.
Now, he’s excited to bring his expertise to HGYC. With a commitment to excellence, he looks forward to growing with the club, elevating the dining experience, and making HGYC the go-to destination for unforgettable moments with family and friends.
